"The staff were all very friendly. They made me feel welcome. The room was nice and very clean. However, the pool and hot tub area were very disappointing. There was black mold on the walls and ceilings. There were 55 gallon drums of chemicals outside the pool chemical room. There were spiders in the pool. The pool and hot tub space did not feel safe or inviting."

"This cozy cabin was relaxing and clean. The kitchen was well organized, and there were labels with important info throughout the place, including how to operate the room ceiling fan remotes. It was the perfect place to meet with old friends and make crafts together. The neighborhood was calm and people were friendly. The fire pit and picnic table area were nice too. We'll definitely be back if the timing works out. We've stayed at several identical cabins in the area, and this was my favorite."

"The Rustic River Retreat is amazing! We loved the multi-level living spaces and wide array of things to do including arcade games, hot tub and just relaxing and visiting in the many comfortable living spaces. We will be back, this is a fantastic property in a great location."
