"Was like walking back in time. Peaceful .If you want coffee in the morning you will need to bring some instant and make in the microwave. "

"The property is beautiful and the rooms were very nicely renovated. They have complementary snacks as well as ones to be purchased in the rooms a long with various beverages. The beds are very comfortable and there is a nice sitting area in the room as well. We had an amazing dinner at the North Star restaurant. My mother and I shared four appetizers that were delicious and very unique. We will definitely be back!"

"I didn't see any staff members on site. When I went to the office to check in, I had to call a posted number. The person who answered instructed me how to process my credit card and program my room keys on equipment in the office. I accomplished both successfully. My room #103 was very basic, showing wear and tear, but clean. My bed was comfortable. The heating/ A/C unit was adequate, but outdoor temperatures were mild. The room door did not latch when closed normally, probably due to building settling. The deadbolt worked OK for when I was in the room. I found that, by lifting the door handle with the door closed, I could get the latch to operate, so I was able to lock the door and provide security for my belongings when I wasn't in my room."

"A very pleasant stay. A quiet room in a charming house with a convenient location. Hot made-to-order breakfasts. Plenty of parking. I had a room with a shared bath directly across the hall, and there was no issue. I enjoyed talking to the other guests over breakfast and won't hesitate to come again."
