Very friendly service from the staff. I would rate the staff as excellent.
Room was so small to the level it is just usable.
Breakfast was OK.

Geoffrey Bawa design absolutely charming. Staff very friendly and showed us around the vacant rooms which was a real treat. Fantastic breakfast in perfect surroundings.

"Beautiful location, high on a hill overlooking tea plantations and Sinharaja Forest. Our room was traditional but comfortable. Nice to have access to a swimming pool although there were only 3 sun loungers for the 12 guests who were staying at the same time as us."

"The road to Rainforest edge is not good - and you can miss it. It's only partly tarmac, and that pitted. It's uphill, winding, and goes through a tea factory. But when you get there...
