Agate hunting, tidepool viewing, and salmon fishing were our outdoor activities, and then back inside the well-appointed kitchen and spacious dining family room were perfect. Then into the movie room with the popcorn maker and reclining seats. Finally, off to bed in spacious and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Thank you for creating such a wonderful home!"

"Very clean property and great layout for family gathering. We enjoyed our stay and experienced a true Oregon beach vacation, with sun, surf, sand and storms all regularly visiting us. Property is a quick walk to the beach (note there is not a lot of beach at high tides and bring your own beach towels from home). The location is peaceful and near many outdoor activities but the nearby town is very sparsely populated with food or things to see or do. Property management was very responsive....

"If you are ok with stairs, this is a great home. Beautiful view and easy access to a wonderful beach. The house is one of the nicest coastal homes I've stayed in. Our only complaints are 1) kitchen is stocked ok but not great. There seems to be a lack of spoons. 2) the bedroom with the double bunk has the worst mattress I've ever experienced. Springs are actually poking you. We were only able to use it by putting a comforter and blanket over the top of the mattress and then placing the bottom...

"We long wanted to visit Gold Beach and just never had the opportunity. When I found this listing of a house overlooking where the river meets to ocean I was hooked. The pictures for the property are accurate. If anything they do not fully convey the beauty of the setting. We had a wonderful time just sitting in the room off of the deck (when it got too windy and cold to sit on the deck) chatting and watching the sea lions, geese, ducks and assorted other birds that live and play in the river...

"We had to plan our stay last minute and booking was easy with no issues. We could see the beach, though a house is being built across the street and may limit that view very shortly. Construction noise wasn't really an issue as they were only on the ground level stuff and no walls raised yet. We enjoyed the numerous close places to grab coffee, so we could sit on the beach in the mornings and caffeinate. Beds were comfy and stocked with pillows and blankets, bathrooms were adequate, kitchen...

"This house was just right for my family. Check-in was easy and the host, Aimee, was responsive to my questions. The home was fully equipped with everything we needed. The furniture was outdated, however, it was very comfortable. I enjoy having windows open as I like a breeze in the house, however, very few windows had screens on them. I would recommend this house, especially for groups."
