We cook all our meals at the house and the kitchen and dining area are great. The dock is perfect for leaving our bass boats in the water with the launch right across the street. Outside facilities are outstanding. Pleasant stay."

"This is a real gem. The kitchen is HUGE and well appointed so anyone planning a family/friend outing will have plenty of room to cook and lay out a great buffet. The outdoor areas are also a plus. From the screened in porch to the outside seating, we enjoyed the comfortable space. The two-tiered dock is also really great and our fishermen in the group spent a lot of time there. The only downfall of the place is that both bathrooms, although VERY nice and big, are en suites. So if you have people sleeping in the glassed in room that have to 'go' at night, just be prepared that they need to walk through a bedroom to use the bathroom. Wasn't a problem for our group of friends but this could be an issue for others."

"This was our first time in Alabama and we searched for a place on water. This place is beautiful - better than the photos show. Little things like local magazines and tasteful decor add to the experience. Owners were great to deal with. Lake Wedowee is a place we'll return to."

"Our family had a blast! Plenty of space with activities and games around the house. My tween didn't even spend time on her cell phone. The host was very accommodating, letting us stay longer on Easter Sunday! Can't wait to come back when the river is up."
