They could not have been more helpful and always responded very promptly and helped with recommending a local pub which was really nice. "A lovely quiet place perfect for a night away. Clean and comfortable. Great host, always there to help out. Just be aware that the hot tub is a paid extra, something that is not mentioned but that is not the hosts fault. They are unsure why that information is missing from the listing. Hotels.com were useless at trying to sort that out. But don't hesitate to book this place, just maybe drop them a message about using the hot tub first. "We only spent one night but loved the hotel. The location is great. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away and a beautiful park opposite. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Lots of seating in the lounge. On arrival by car, you hand over your key and your car is parked and luggage delivered to your room which is a nice touch. Would highly recommend"

"Stayed for 1 night. Room very nice, on ground floor overlooking horse walkers which was lovely for me. Friendly helpful staff. Really nice breakfast. Excellent choice. Used both the gym and pool. "A basic hotel set in lovely, peaceful grounds. The rooms could do with updating, but for a three-star hotel, they were as expected. I didn’t book breakfast, and unfortunately, the Sunday roast didn’t look very appealing. I stayed for four nights while visiting family, and the location was quiet and pleasant. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. However, housekeeping didn’t clean our room once during our stay. When we asked for it to be cleaned, the cleaner said she would, but instead left someone else’s dirty cups in our room, which was disappointing. Overall, I would stay again, mainly because it is the closest hotel to where my family lives."
