My stay at the Romantik Hotel Beau Rivage was excellent and everything I needed for travel. The room had a comfortable bed, a refrigerator, and a balcony with a stunning lake view, plus the sauna overlooking the water was a great bonus. The location was perfect—easy check-in, close to a boat cruise and a nearby convenience store—and although there was no microwave, that’s common in Switzerland; overall, it was everything I dreamed it could be.

We had a wonderful stay at the Beau Rivage. The food and service were great. Herr Schneider at the front desk provided us with an excellent hike on the Rigi. Overall we had a delightful experience and look forward to a future visit.

Waited on us until 3 AM becayse flight was late. Went way out of their way to ensure we where happy. Great breakfast and nice big rooms. Very friendly and super helpful. Absolutely will return.

This hotel made my stay extraordinary

The views are magnificent and truly made it the high point of our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. The food, the hospitality, the view… if I could give it higher points I would. Only negative I would say is it could get troublesome on super hot days as they don’t have AC. I’m certainly coming back ..

A very beautiful lake and mountain small village on Lake Lucerne. Everything was absolutely perfect, except our bed. You would think with amount paid, you would have more than two basic twin beds pushed together. Was not comfortable nor romantic for the “romantic” hotel. Highly recommend but be sure you have a bed!

Wonderful location on the lake . Staff member helpful. Hole in wall caused by door handle , needs repairing and door stop put there. Room was very worn and bed and head board definitely need replacing , 2 single beds put together with a big dip in the middle , not the most comfortable bed . Village view room looked at roofs , quite noisy in the street below . Breakfast was average and hot breakfast only luke warm Pool and jacuzzi were nice , lovely area to relax . We enjoyed a very relaxing stay here . The hotel contacted us by email on our second day saying they like to have an excellent review and to speak to them if we had any concerns , we did speak to reception about the state of the bed and headboard and were told sorry to hear that !

The property is an update from the grad days of spa hotels by the lake. The dining room and staff are in the professional tradition of Swiss hospitality - no learned at Swiss schools, those many of the staff are Italian with multiple language fluency. Superb food. The rooms are pleasant, bathrooms are modernized, but if you have any business to do a lack of outlets and usb connections means bring your own connectors and cables. Lighting also needs upgrading. Parking gets overloaded quickly.

Avoid This Overpriced Hotel! A Disappointing Stay!

Our experience was extremely disappointing. The room was far from clean, with dust everywhere. We specifically booked a room with a king-sized bed, but were given two single beds. The mattress was uncomfortable, making for a restless night. When we addressed this issue, no action was taken. Moreover, the room lacked a coffee machine as advertised. Breakfast was supposed to start at 7:30 AM, but they had no warm meals available until 8:15 AM, and we couldn't wait due to our flight. It was unreasonable to not have the chef available on time. As a result, we were unable to enjoy breakfast even though we had paid for it. This hotel is overpriced for the less than basic experience it provides. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere to avoid similar disappointments."

Der Pool sowie die Dampfsauna waren leider geschlossen, das Bad war sehr klein und ist renovierungsbedürftig. Das Frühstück war etwas klein, aber ausreichend und Parkplätze gibt es leider auch nur wenig. Wenn man zu spät kommt, ist keiner mehr übrig.

Un hôtel relativement bon marché pour la Suisse, mais du coup un peu vieillot. La piscine est moins grande que ce que l’on pourrait croire d’après les photos. Les chambres ont une vue agréable sur le lac avec une petite terrasse. Attention si vous venez en été, pas de climatisation. Au final un rapport qualité prix correct.
