It's literally on the wrong side of the tracks, but that's not a big deal. It is still within walking distance of the train station, and there is a regular bus that stops right outside the hotel. Otherwise, it's a 'no frills' a&o ho(s)tel that does the job for a night or two.

Das Frühstück war lecker und vielseitig, es gab frische Pancakes, verschiedene Sorten Brötchen und auch Toast. Es gab eine Auswahl an Müsli, Obst und Eier. Der Kaffeevollautomat bot für alle ein gutes Getränk für den Einstieg in den Tag (heißes Wasser und Tee, Kakao, Crema, Milchkaffee) und es gab sogar Hafermilch. Das Zimmer ließ keine Wünsche übrig - Bett und solides Bad, was man halt braucht. Unten sogar mit Bar und Billard, das war sehr nett.

Selv om indtjekningen skulle være smart ved at ske på mobiltelefonen, blev den vanvittig besværlig. Hotellet havde desuden forsømt at sende mig en indtjekningsformular forud. Det kunne have hjulpet noget.

Wegen der schulklassen viel zu laut. Schulkinder meinten oft über 5-10 min den Fahrstuhl zu blockieren des wir mit den kinderwagen nicht in den 2 stock kommen. Ein mitarbeiter spricht leider ein schlechtes deutsch war aber nett ubd Höfflich.

Chaotische Jugendherberge !

Ich kenne die A & O Hotels aus Hamburg von der Reeperbahn und habe schon zahlreich dort übernachtet. Nur deswegen habe ich aus der Not heraus das Hotel gebucht, als das ursprünglich gebuchte Hotel in einer sehr schneereichen Nacht nicht mehr erreichbar war. Buchung 23.58 Uhr, das System bucht mich aber auf die darauffolgende Nacht, ohne das ich das gemerkt hatte. Im Hotel angekommen, meine der Nachtportier, das würde nicht gehen, dass man die Nacht auf die gewünschte Nacht umbuchen könnte, obwohl der Übernachtungspreis derselbe war. Also Doppelzahlung, einmal Hotel, einmal Hotel.com. Das Doppelzimmer war eine Eiskammer. Eingecheckt um 01.00 Uhr brauchte es über eine Stunde, bis die Heizung das Zimmer auf angenehme Temperaturen hochgeheizt hatte. Das Bad ist sehr klein, das Bett füllt den Raum aus. Zwar sauber, aber nicht länger als eine Nacht. Die ganze Anlage macht eher den Eindruck einer chaotischen Jugendherberge. Parken kostet Geld, aber in einer Schnee-Nacht lässt sich der Parkplatz gar nicht erreichen, weil der Schnee einen halben Meter hoch liegt. Aber, ohne Auto ist das Haus wahrscheinlich nicht zu erreichen. Mein FAZIT: Chaotische Jugendherberge für viel Geld – Muss man nicht haben. Besser woanders buchen, günstig ist es so oder so nicht.
