Charming accommodation in a beautiful town.

We stayed in the one bedroom apartment, with our son sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room. The apartment was very comfortable and attractively furnished with nearly all that we needed (the only thing we would have liked would have been an iron and ironing board). We loved the accommodation and the area it is in - a short walk to the wonderful old centre of the town, with plenty of eating and drinking options, some beautiful gardens to explore, and ancient buildings. We would definitely stay there again! Be aware there are special check-in procedures and you need to contact the owners via email at least a day before you arrive.

Beautiful historic property with plenty of space and privacy. Very clean with modern day comforts such as air conditioning. Not your typical hotel as there is no front desk or daily clearing service, however they were very responsive to email and there are numerous breakfast options at cafes just steps away. Will definitely stay here again!

We looked for a place near the marketplatz in Weinheim. My mother and her family grew up there and we wanted to be close to her relatives, that was our priority. We weren’t expecting such a large beautiful loft/suite. Very old building (formerly a church), with a quiet walled-in courtyard with tables/chairs where you can sit outside. Bed was comfortable, nice duvet, separate shower room with large sink, the toilet and a small sink is in a separate room - both are inside the loft. Air conditioning and automatic outdoor blinds keep it cool. We’re back in the area next week and have booked it again.

Amazing place to experience the culture

The Ulner Kapelle has amazing rooms that take you back in time with new amenities. The AC works great especially in the summer. You can walk to some great shopping and restaurants. I would stay here again. Make sure you can walk up stairs as there are a few of them.

Modernes Zimmer mitten in der Altstadt

Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Suite mit größer Fernsehecke, kleiner Küchenzeile und großem Bett. Die Anfahrt direkt ans Gebäude war etwas schwierig aufgrund der engen Straßen in der Altstadt. Aber das war nur am ersten Tag ein Problem. Ansonsten alles super, gerade die Klimaanlage war ein Segen an den heißen Tagen. Sehr modern und sauber. Einzig die Jalousien waren nicht so nützlich, sehr dünn, sodass es morgens schon um 5 Tag hell im Zimmer war.

Super hyggelig lejlighed med træbjælker, stort og lækkert badeværelse. Alt var i tip top stand. Jeg havde udsigt til bjerg og borgruin. Stille og rolig gade i middelalderbyen. Undgå dog lørdage - der er festlokale nedenunder. De lover toiletartikler - det løfte holder de ikke. Al info på engelsk er Google oversat - ret morsomt.

Modernes Refugium in geschichtsträchtigen Gemäuern

Alte Sandsteinwände, schwere Holztüren, eine ehemalige Kirche nebst Anbauten mitten in der wunderschönen Altstadt von Weinheim, im Dachgeschoss das großes moderne große luftige Studio Appartement, Geschmack- und liebevoll restauriert mit allen nötigen Annehmlichkeiten: Großes Bett mit wunderbaren Laken, Sofas, Flatscreen, Küche und großes Badezimmer. Wir lagen unter meterhohen Jahrhundertealten freigelegten Holzdecken mit Blick auf alte Kapellenfenster und die Fachwerkfassaden der Altstadt mit Odenwald im Hintergrund. Nach einer langen Wanderung durch die Altstadt, Parks und die Burgen am angrenzenden Hang des Odenwalds mit seinen endlosen Wäldern lässt sich hier wunderbar Ausspannen, ungestört von Housekeeping. Das "Zimmer" ähnelt eher einer Suite und ist so groß wie manche Dreizimmerwohnung. Frühstücksbuffet, Concierge, Telefon zur nicht vorhandenen Rezeption etc sucht man vergebens, das genau ist aber auch nicht das Konzept dieses Hotels (... was es eigentlich auch nicht ist ... Herberge, Wohnung auf Zeit, etc trifft aus auch nur annähernd) Check-in und check-out verliefen Problemlos. An der Bar im Erdgeschoss des altehrwürdigen Gemäuers kann der eine oder andere Drink genommen werden und das Team der Ulner Kapelle verbindet Herzblut zur Lokalität und Liebe zur Gastfreundlichkeit ... alles in allem eine wunderbare Herberge für die, die mal nicht "Standard-Zimmer-mit-Frühstücks-Buffet" wollen, sondern sich aktiv FÜR einen Ort zum Verweilen entscheiden. Auf nach Weinheim!
