"This was the cutest place to stay for our honeymoon! The staff was so kind and left us a bottle of wine. It was a quiet secluded area. If you’re ready to unplug and unwind this was perfect. Cell service works totally fine but who needs it when you’re in such a wonderful location! There was a grill and lots of extra amenities in the mill and the lodge. We had a wonderful time and wish we could have stayed longer!! "

2/10 Terrible

"At check in? Taylor had no front desk knowledge, and put usnin a ozone room with this machine and smelled very very bad. I had to go back to the front desk I got another room. Everything was outdated old, the hallways were stinky and very very hot, the carpets in the hallway were filthy all ripped up and then we got to the room and there was plaster covering holes in the walls there is black mark right next to the window and curtains, the door in the bathroom was separating and it would not shop properly. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the room just a little bit of body wash. Carpets were absolutely disgusting. Who wore socks and by the time we what you take a shower there were black, it's pretty much shredding away and some carpet spots for bald. Definitely disgusting and unacceptable. Good breakfast buffet oh my God what a joke. There is a barely anything in there only yogurts when they should have been two or three different flavored yogurts, no Bananas and milk. There was no absolutely no orange juice available and your coffee machine was down with a big sign on it. Hardly anything for breakfast when you advertise that you have a breakfast buffet. Black lady there was extremely rude and unprofessional with an attitude. I asked her if there was more oranges in the back and she said no when I hadn't seen oranges in days. The quality of the breakfast was awful no good. You false advertise breakfast buffet as if it was cooked order and then nice. Reviews? Absolutely m"

"Mr. James has an excellent piece of property with everything that a family would want; quiet, serenity and a great place to fish all wrapped up in one. This is our 3rd stay here and as far as we're concerned, we won't stay anywhere else. If you want a great clean, peaceful, serene place then look no further. This is that place. Thanks again Mr. James for being the perfect host."

"We loved our stay here! We visited the area for an annual "River Run". The house was clean and right across the street from the boat ramp. I would highly recommend for a unique experience in a house with a lot of charm and character. Great location and the hosts were quick to respond. We will stay again."

"Sitting outside on the dock drinking my coffee was one of my favorite things while staying here. Watching fish jump and listening to the birds was so peaceful and relaxing.The home was a little older and smaller than I expected, but we didn’t spend much time inside so that didn’t really bother us. The home was clean and the nautical theme decorations were very neat. Also the bonus room outside was a great way to add additional sleeping space. The convenience of us being able to park our boat at the dock was a huge bonus. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. "

"Very cute property I was glad that we were the only ones that had rented the house. It would’ve been a little awkward with other people a hot tub saved the day. It was very nice. Cover was very tricky to get back on. Felt like they could’ve spruce up the property of it with some fresh plants. And lots of dead stuff could use a spruce up."
