We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed our time. The home was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the river. It was peaceful and relaxing. The wood-burning fireplace was a highlight and made our evenings cozy. A great spot to unwind and enjoy the scenery. We’d definitely stay again!

Beautiful, on the river, and comfy bed!!

We loved this cabin, my husband, dog and I were really comfortable. Bathrooms are awesome - especially the jacuzzi tub. We enjoyed watching the river and driving about 15m up to the snow (we came in January). Salmon River Trail was close and fun, too. Couch wasn’t very comfortable but everything else rocked.

Riverfront Retreat

What a fantastic property in a great location. House is clean and comfortable with a ton of natural light. Fantastic views of both river and mountains. My dog loved having access to the large fenced yard, and I enjoyed the fast wifi and easy access to the nearby trails, breweries, shops and grocery stores. The neighborhood is peaceful and very quiet.

Gorgeous getaway

Beautiful home with the most relaxing set up. Every night we enjoyed the fireplace with the doors cracked so we could also hear the river. The master bed was extremely comfortable too!

We really enjoyed our stay here and if you have dogs this is the place to be with the fenced in backyard. Amazing views, loved all of the doors that lead outside and the view from basically every room! Lots of games, two wood fireplaces which were amazing and made it so cozy, and the giant jacuzzi tub with heated bathroom floors were our favorite things! Also, love all of the spaces outside to eat and chill out. Highly recommend this place to have a relaxing time!

Fantastic river home

The outdoor space on the river was perfect. The river views are the focal point of the home. The home is nicely furnished and you don't feel like you are in rental property. The kitchen is amazing and well furnished. Perfect location for hiking around Mount Hood. Neighborhood is very nice and the house sits on edge of the beautiful Salem River

Salmon River Retreat

Very nice home right on the Salmon river with fenced back yard for our pups. Huge windows in living area and kitchen overlooking river. Loved the huge jacuzzi tub in master bathroom. Warm, cozy fireplace in living room. Walking distace to bridge and trails was fun too. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful home in the forest and on the river!

This home was a delight to stay at. Temperatures were 100 + but it didn't feel like it in the woods. The kitchen had all the amenities needed to feel right at home. It was a fantastic trip and I highly recommend staying here. Thank you!

Wonderful river views

We love this house and this was our second stay because of how great the location is, the fenced yard with river views, comfortable living room with lots of seating, and convenient kitchen with all you need for meals. The location feels quiet and is nestled in the woods on the river but you are less than 10 minutes to everything you need (grocery, restaurants, coffee, etc.) and in the winter the slopes are right near by. We love that we can sit outside and enjoy the river with the dogs in the fenced area and they have plenty of yard to explore and relax in. The house has been extremely clean both stays and there are so many touches to make the time relaxing and enjoyable. We’ll be back again for sure!

Great home on the river

This house has just about everything you need to cook and it was great being right by the river. Loved how open it was too. Some animal kept getting into the garbage bin every night, but you are on the mountain….Close to various restaurants and bars as well. For the owner, the gas grill was turned on when we went to use it. Maybe double check that it’s off during the cleaning process. Note: firewood provided for only ONE night, if you need more you’ll need to go to Thriftway down the road. We were used to Bend/Sunriver rentals where they provide stacks of wood. Great house overall tho! We will book this again

Peaceful Salmon River Stay

This is a lovely modern home in a great area on the Salmon River. Its description is very accurate - it has mid-century modern touches throughout. We don't currently have a dog but it's very clearly a dog friendly house, which, as a former and future dog owner, is appreciated. The kitchen is large and very well stocked. One item I couldn't find that would have been useful would be a flat baking sheet. The location is on a residential road not too far from the town's major shopping (Thriftway) and cute/nice-looking golf course. It's also very close to the Old Salmon River Trail, a wonderful easy hike and we saw lots of salmon. The house feels private but not remote. The weather was drizzly (shocker), but it's such a beautiful place and we loved having the windows open and listening to the river and the rain. We had a fire in the fire pit overlooking the river on the last night, which really made it feel like we were on a luxury camping trip! The master bath is divine. We watched a couple of movies, which worked out great. The one real drawback was the cleanliness of the bedrooms. Vacasa was very responsive on hearing this and luckily, because we don't live far away and due to needing more blankets in past rentals, we travel with extra bedding. I think as long as that's fixed in the future, it's an excellent vacation spot.

The property is in a beautiful location, very dog friendly with the fenced yard. Lovely view of the river. The Outdoor area is in need of cleanup and refresh. There were minimal towels (one washcloth/handtowel in each bathroom and no pot holders in the kitchen. As we were throwing in laundry on checkout we did find a load of laundry in the dryer, this may have been the missing linens.
