"Needed a 3 bed, 2 bath lake courage close to home to enjoy a long fall weekend and found this gem just over 3 hours away. Loved the fire pits , kayaks, TV’s for sports and views out over the medium sized and very quiet lake. The cottage seemed bigger than the pictures showed, really enjoyed all the relaxing areas to sit and chill with the family. It’s nice having Tawas City only 15 minutes away for supplies and the General Store 2 minutes away for drinks. Thanks for sharing this cottage with us. Take a trip up to Lumberman’s Monument Park for awesome views"

"The room was clean, but dated. My reservation was a single room with 2 queen beds. Our room was a single queen. It worked, but it was not what my reservation was for. We also had trouble connecting to the TV. I don't have a Roku account, and even though it had a cable box it would not connect to the TV so we were unable to watch any local channels. Locally owned and operated. Sorry, it was one step above summer camp."

"The employee that checked us in was pleasant. The room was basic but clean-ish. I say that because yes, the toilet and sink were clean but around the light switches, floor corners, door handles etc were dirty. Not a deal breaker, just noticed. The room had a fridge, microwave and plug ins for electronics. Overall, a decent room for the price. Would stay there again,at this time of year. Im sure during the summer the price might be higher and then it wouldnt be worth it to me."
