Dark skies and 90 acres of nature - Glamping Pods/Tiny Houses near Lake Isabella

Glamping pods = glamorous camping at the Monkey Flower Ranch are one of a kind. These are THE ONLY tiny houses in the vicinity of Lake Isabella (22 miles) that have 90 acres of private high desert property to explore: the views from here are breathtaking.

These tiny houses are located on the Monkey Flower Ranch which is right at the southern tip of the Sequoia National forest - this is the high desert region with amazing mountain views. These pods are adjacent to our main log cabin ranch house and are surrounded by 90 acres of private land which is squared up next to hundreds of square miles of BLM land.

You want darks skies? On moonless nights the skies will blow your mind. You want nature? We have a year round running creek that is home to all sorts of creatures to include deer, bobcats, California ravens, Quail, and many other species to observe or have a conversation with.

Do you like things to do? You can hike up our surrounding mountains, or go drive your off road vehicles or dirt bikes on federal land just minutes away. We are also 25 minutes from Lake Isabella, 45 minutes from Kernville, and 90 minutes from the Trail of 100 Giants.

You have all four pods: a lounge/sleeper pod which can comfortable fit two adults on a full size futon.

Our creek, which runs year-round, is a 50 meter walk away. It's totally private with a lot of nature to enjoy. It would be a major task to find a place like this - it is truly unique.

We are about 8 miles from the PCT, so if you need a break - we're here.

The space
Our west facing tiny houses are 12'x10' and include the following:

A sleeper lounge than can be used to chill out when the weather is not so good, or to sleep with a full sized futon bed. There are side tables, a couple of chairs, and some books to keep you company.

A sleeper loft pod that sleeps one comfortably - two cozily. It's lined with knotty pine panelling - the woody scent puts you right at place. It has a/c and a ceiling fan, a couple of chairs and some books to read.

A Kitchenette that has just about everything you need: gas range, oven, fridge, a dinning table and chairs, coffee maker, cooking utensils and condiments.

Between the loft sleeper pod and the Kitchenette is a shaded patio area equipped with a picnic bench and grill.

Our Bath House is a hidden gem in our valley with a full functioning jacuzzi, shower, and a place to chill out. It'r one of the main reasons people book this place.

We also have an outhouse with TWO separate flushing toilets. There is an outdoor shower point by the latrines as well. Perfect for a mid summer's day cool-off.

We are a 15 minute drive away from groceries and a Chevron station - so it's not too far from civilization. It's 20 - 25 minutes to the city of Lake Isabella.

Please bear in mind that we only accept bookings for 14 days max. No long term inquiries please. Thank you.
