Close to town, but quiet, the owners are welcoming and hospitable and breakfast is included (not mentioned when booking). Wonderful location to wake up to with stunning views and birdsong. "This cabana is no longer available to stay in they took our money of course and when we arrived they showed us to a youth hostel place. I was not happy and told them to take down the bamboo cabana as an option on last minute. They did provide us with a better room in another building but I was not happy. Beware "

"Incredible view, the pictures don't do it justice. Humming birds, woodpeckers, fire flies all in the garden underneath the floor to celing windows. Managers very frendly and helpful with walks, transport. etc. We were a bit nervous about it being a smoking room as we are non smokers but it isnt like a japanese or european smoking room with 20mm of yellow nocotine on the walls - it was very clean and didnt smell of smoke at all. Would book again."

"Decent hotel with a great view and nice spacious rooms... not too far from city center, but too far to walk as there is a bit of traffic. Breakfast and amenities could be better for the price."

"My room has lovely high ceilings and a fresh, clean interior. The is a lovely view of the rice paddies. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The safari they organised was exceptional value. Most importantly thier home-cooking is excellent. "

"Hi, the property was nice, but in the middle of the rice fields. They did not serve dinner, so you have to take a tuktuk to town. The room itself was large and beautiful, but the AC did not work and there was no fridge in the room."

"Cabanas located in trees - you are literally sleeping outside. Different experience, but nice. Be aware that animals may enter, and the river is very close by, so maybe not so good for people who needs complete silence to sleep. Staff very helpful and nice!"

"We had a wonderful time at the guest house. The business seemed family run and was warm and welcoming. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts were fantastic. They had on site scooter rental which was very convenient to help us get around. The views were just stunning. "

"Great location, right next to the Main Street where all the restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is more of a guest house. Rooms are very basic - but very large. Can easily accommodate 4 people. Breakfast is either sri-lanken or western, they are very generous with the quantities. If you are looking for a 4/5 star hotel - it’s not the place for you. It is a low budget option for families who prefer that kind of experience. We enjoyed :)"
