An updated, lovely 3 bedroom, 2 and a half bath cottage that sleeps 6 comfortably. This home is located right on Long Pond and offers beautiful views from almost every room in the house. Swim or kayak right from your backyard or simply enjoy some nature watching while lounging on the deck. The house has 3 nice bedrooms with a queen bed on the first floor and a queen and 2 twins in the second floor bedrooms respectively. There is also a full bath on each floor, one with a shower and the other with a tub-shower combo. Other great amenities include central A/C, WiFi access and satellite cable TV. There is also a charcoal barbeque grill on the deck; perfect for evening barbeques after a day at the beach. Located just off Long Pond Road, there is easy access to both the ocean beaches and the Cape Cod Bay beach in Wellfleet center without ever going on Rt 6. This is a unique and wonderful location. The view of Long Pond never gets old, and we love to kayak and swim morning, noon and night. And the house is the perfect size, with such a liveable layout and just the right amount of fanciness for us, meaning not very fancy, but with design that’s lovely and practical for a beach house. (Theymay want a screw-in bathroom curtain rod, though, as the compression one kept falling down.) And the kitchen has everything you need! We wondered if we hadActually left those little lobster-eating sticks there last year, since we couldn’t find them to bring this year, but left them, of course, in case they weren’t! Thank you Ocean View and thank you Marschalls!
