The venue was tired, but the bedding & towels were clean. Shower was good. Overall the room was OK. Paid for cooked breakfast but it wasn't great, all the items had been out for a long time and were dried up. Probably wouldn't go back

Small hotel run for a family that make you feel at home. Food was good, need order before everything is cooked fresh from scratch! Helpful staff and clean and tidy. Building is old but well kept. Definitely I will be back. Price was good for what you get and price didn’t increase because Silverstone as other hotels did. Love it

6/10 Okay

Decent family room and a decent place to stay for the night. My only complaint was the shower head is fixed making it difficult for people of smaller height (like myself) to shower properly - it also leaked out of the shower because of its positioning which drenched the floors.

I stayed at Columbia Hotel & Restaurant and overall had a comfortable and pleasant experience. The hotel has a friendly, family-run feel and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, which really made a positive difference. The room was clean, tidy, and perfectly adequate for a short stay. While the hotel is a bit dated in places, everything was well-maintained and I felt comfortable during my visit. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything I needed, including tea and coffee facilities. Overall, it’s a solid budget-friendly hotel that delivers on cleanliness, comfort, and friendly service. I would happily stay again for a short visit and would recommend it for anyone looking for good value accommodation in Wellingborough.

Check in was quick and staff helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and looked like it had new furniture, curtains and carpets. Some friends staying in other rooms did not have the same experience, it seems the refurbishment hadn’t reached there yet. The corridors etc looked tired and dated but for the price, our stay was very comfortable and convenient.

What a lovely quaint hotel. Upon arrival the exterior looks a little ragged and in need of some refurbishment. What a surprise when i went inside. Lovely, well kept wall paper and carpets in designs that match the age of the property. Our room appeared to have been recently renovated as the carpet was perfect and the bathroom was pristine! The shower was incredibly powerful and beautifully hot. Alongside the normal fluffy white towels was a lovely little toiletry set which was unexpected for a budget hotel. The bedroom itself was well appointed with basic furniture with the twin beds being firm but not hard. Best point was the number of wall outlets, which I find a struggle in most English hotels, never enough and in awkward places. There were 3 double outlets in useful locations. Breakfast was sumptuous with a full English. 2 of everything, eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns with sides of mushrooms, tomatoes and beans all delivered to the beautifully laid table instead of a buffet. All in all a lovely 2 night weekend getaway

The hotel was a bit dated but immaculately clean. I had a warm double bed, wall mounted TV, en suite shower room that looked new. Tea, coffee and biscuits. The breakfast was the best I’d ever had, including at 5* hotels. Freshly cooked for each person. Everything supplied for a full English including fresh juice, eggs, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, beans, cereal. I really loved my stay
