"My sister and i love staying at virginia settlement. The owners are great people and they take care of their customers. We just stayed 4 nights and wishwd we could stay longer. Its convenient for the places we like to fish and other places we enjoy visiting in the Bridgeport area. We love to stay in tent cabins. They have a nice area to bbque and fun things for the kids to do. It is also dog friendly. We recommennd Virginia settlement to all our frienda and family. Thanks for a great stay."

"In comparison to the Very Negative reviews from about 1-2 years ago, this motel is being thoroughly remodeled. Carpets removed and replaced by hardwood floors, and I saw no e evidence of any structural or safety problems. The clerk said the entire motel is being worked on, and my room looked new and was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Still no complimentary breakfast, despite that amenity still being advertised on their website. She said the pool had been fixed but then the water pump went out and will be replaced, so the pool should soon be available. Staff was friendly and professional. Overall, this motel is well on its way to getting back on track."

"Only problem was that the pool was closed because the hot tub was leaking. They didn’t want anybody to fall into the emptied hot tub so they close the whole facility down."
