Top Wells Hotel Reviews

Anchor Inn and Cottages Wells-Ogunquit

8/10 Good

"The hotel is situated in Wells which is centrally located between Ogunquit & Kennebunkport and it couldnt have been a better fit. The location was EVERYTHING. The room itself is quite large & kept pretty clean. Our only complaints were that the wifi was extremely spotty once we were in our room (it was towards the back so maybe that’s why?) and the room smelled a bit like cigarettes/smoke. Other than that, staff was friendly & helpful, plenty of parking, and only about a 10-20 min drive to either city. Would absolutely stay here again!"

STUNNING BEACHSIDE HOME-WELLS BEACH: 180 DEGREE OCEAN VIEWS: 9-1 to 9-3 open

8/10 Good

"The property itself was very nice, but there were a few issues that detracted from our stay. We found bugs in the shower and in a few other rooms. The bathroom towels were also not very absorbent and could definitely be improved.Additionally, the shades in the master bedroom did not block out enough light. They should be light-blocking or room-darkening shades, especially for a bedroom.Overall, it was a very nice property, but addressing these issues would make the experience much more comfortable for future guests. Overall, we did enjoy our stay."

The Beach Rose Inn

8/10 Good

"This is a great location, one mile from the beach, a supermarket a block away. The room was nice, but you will want to bring a darkening mask if you have to sleep in the dark as the curtains on the sliding glass doors/windows were not blackout curtains. Staff was not there the whole time, but there are ways to get ahold of them as needed and they were very helpful and kind."

Haven By The Sea B&B Inn

8/10 Good

"I think this property is in the process of becoming a wonderful inn, but is not there yet. Under new ownership the past couple of years, the two brothers who own it seem serious about creating a first class stay experience, but still have some work to do. The fireplace pilot should have been turned on so we could enjoy it, since that was one of the reasons I booked our room there and no one was available to request that it be working. Lighting in the room was quite poor, with some burnt out light bulbs and the magnifying makeup mirror light was dim at best. There should be soap, shampoo, and conditioner available at the jacuzzi tub. The room overall was lovely. Nice touch with the comfy bathrobes. Breakfast was delicious! Worth giving a second chance."
