"There isn't a great amount to do in this historical locale, but a short drive puts you in the redwoods or to some dining options. The grocery store across the street makes great fresh sandwiches. The rooms are unique, quiet, and well appointed. There was a very nice sitting area just outside the door of our room. The staff persons were all nice, accommodating, we enjoyed our arrival refreshment. If you want to stay in a peaceful, historic building, this lodge woorks well."

"I came with family for a memorial to my late husband. The house accommodated everyone! Each had their own room/bath. The house is immaculate and thoughtfully equipped. The ever-changing view is amazing. Thank you for sharing your home with us. "

"We all loved this house. You can sit in the living room and be at peace with the view alone! House is clean. Quality kitchen appliances and equipment to cook. Bedding and beds very comfy with no shortage of pillows to choose from and blankets to stay cozy! It’s quite a spot! So close to all you’d want to see in the redwoods! I saw a prior complaint of marijuana smell.from the neighbors We did not experience that at all…. But even so, that’s not this owners fault or anything that they could control. I highly recommend this spot!"
