"The apartment was clean and well furnished. The beds were comfortable, as were the sofas. The kitchen had everything you need. "Pros: we spend 5 days in Berlin and loved the location. Is easy excess to the Interstates for day tours around Berlin. Public transportation in great if you want to go into Berlin .Mr.and Mrs. war very helpful. Only downfall if you need Internet do not count on. It is very slow and kicks you out. Over all it was a wonderful time there. We would recommend the Blockhouse to every one who want to visit Berlin and but want to stay away from the hassle of the big city."

"Amazing hotel: close to transportation so you can get around, beautiful decor and atmosphere, loved the 24hours gym and use of the spa, room was huge, bed comfortable and shower was big and had good water pressure. Only downside was my refrigerator wasn’t working, they suggested I switch to new room but I asked them to send me ice packs or a possible technician - I got neither. Other than that I would definitely stay here again."

"This hotel is conveniently located near Friedrichstraße Station, so is close to transport links, shops and restaurants, but down a side street so with little passing traffic. There is a good German restaurant right next door. The interior of the hotel is nicely decorated and seemed well maintained. There is a small pool in the basement, it seemed clean but a little unloved. If you want a bathrobe it's a extra €5, which seemed a bit cheeky given that it's not a cheap hotel. Our room was a decent size, with a TV, fridge, and kettle. The beds/pillows were comfortable. When we needed reception they were helpful and friendly. We didn't book breakfast at the hotel as it seemed very expensive (€25), but there are several cafes nearby. We ate at the Checkpoint restaurant once, the staff were nice but there was a long delay when one of our main courses was brought out but the other one wasn't for well over 30 minutes. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to most of the sights of central Berlin. We had a nice stay but weren't there a lot."
