"This is an older property that's been maintained exceptionally well by Westin. The staff were all extremely pleasant and appeared happy with their jobs. Nobody was aggressive in asking for tips. Nobody was selling trinkets on the beach. The smaller property size meant that the beach was very close to our rooms. The water was clear and the sand was very clean. No seaweed. The property was surrounded by the Governor's mansion on the north side and by a condo townhouse complex on the south, meaning that there weren't too many other guests around us. A tip would be to book your excursions through the shop across the street, as prices are much better. This is definitely a more upscale and elevated experience compared to the standard properties in Cancun, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic. Lastly, the Cayman Islands are extremely safe, so we felt comfortable walking around outside the resort. 10/10 would recommend. The ONLY downside was the strong Cayman Dollar 💵💰."
