"The hotel itself is a typical "Railway hotel" that is tired looking in places (ie needs decorating) but that said it is still a lovely hotel, the rooms are clean there is tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge i can't comment on the breakfast as I didnt have it. The check in lady (Annabelle i think!) Was first class her customer service was second to none and should be recognised by the hotel management, obviously very close to Newcastle Central Station and also close to restaurants etc, I would stay here again."
