"We had a lovely few days staying at the cottage which was very convenient for local sight seeing. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable and lovely large rooms to spend time relaxing as well as enjoying local walks. Would recommend to everyone."

"Relaxing and quiet location. The property was as listed and we were very comfortable during our stay. Little touches like Christmas tree and pint of milk were welcome. Despite the typical British weather the property’s location allowed us to explore the local area such as Cheddar Gorge and Wells. Would thoroughly recommend Berrow beach-quiet and dog friendly! We loved the view out across the fields."

"Lovely clean, very well equipped cottage with a delightful garden. All our needs were catered for. The cottage is in a fabulous setting. Ideal location for walking our dog and a wonderful pub providing exceptional food within a few minutes stroll. Splendid National Trust property almost on the doorstep. "Purcombe Farmhouse is a gem. It provides comfortable and very well equipped accommodation, suitable for all ages - our family group were aged 66 down to 1yr and we all had a wonderful week there. Lovely gardens to explore and the hot tub was a definite plus later at night! This property is so peaceful and with stunning views, yet only a 10 minute drive from Bridport"

"This is not the Ritz - but there are some really good points - it's lovely and quiet - so a good sleep was easy. Take your own towels - ones provided were not great - I would also say take your own bedding. One major for a couple is the double is on a mezz and the toilet is down stairs - this didn't effect me as I was on my own so slept in the single room downstairs. Owner is lovely - and my stay in Sherborne very nice. Lovely place."

"The property is well furnished and very clean. It has all the equipment that is needed, and we were treated to a welcome gift which was lovely (no spoilers). It is very close to a general stores shop and a lovely fish & chip shop We enjoyed our stay and Bridport is a great place."

The property and house were spacious and comfortable, with more than enough supplies to set a table and serve sixteen family members multiple meals with ease. "Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. "

Izzie and Willy are obviously as attentive to their guests as they are to the well manicured gardens that lead you down to the River Yarty.
