"No room service of any kind. You have to get your own towels, toilet paper, toiletries and even when you remind them to come freshen up the sheets or beddings for 3 nites. They don't show up. They're very prompt to remind guests to get out though."
"La Quinta in Altoona was clean and generally very nice. There were a few items that could be improved:
1) There was no light on the side of the our room near the bathroom. A floor lamp there would really help.
2) We are older people and were fortunate that we brought along a bath mat. Otherwise the tub (which we used only as a shower) would have been very slick and difficult to get out of.
3) The faucet for the bathroom sink was mounted away from the basin and whenever you used it water bounced...
"We stayed for 4 nights, it was a quiet, clean dark room. The AC unit worked well and kept the room very cool and comfortable. Breakfast was ok, a lot of options, but I'm not much of a breaksfast person. Needed new towels and housekeeping gladly left us a bag of new towels. Front desk staff was kind and helpful.
