"Gorgeous rooms, both pools are lovely, the dinner and drinks were phenomenal, and the outdoor seating/fire pits were a lovely touch. Did not take advantage of the outdoor games or bike rentals but I would love to stay here again!"

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were placed in a room directly outside the pool so our room smelt overwhelming like chlorine as soon as we opened the door. The two double beds were a full size, as apposed to queen, so they were a bit small for two people. The room was very clean, as was the entire property. The pool area was nice, but unfortunately, it was rainy and overcast curing our stay, so we did not use it. Based on this experience, I would stay there again in the future."

"Our room was comfortable and clean. The cleaning staff were very accommodating and friendly. The outdoor pool area could use more umbrellas, the sun is directly over the area in the afternoon with little to no shade."

"First, I was in SHOCK when I first saw the NEW look of the LI. It looks like the inside of a Pier One Imports store. I have been a guest at the LI for at least 30 years…I could have cried, and did a bit, when I saw the old character of the inn just sandblasted away. I understand repairs were necessary, but to polish it all up in New York-y style, I thought, they want to be the Ocean House! And that bar? Good heavens! The Stone family ancestors must be turning in their graves. Our cottage was fine, but the bathroom could definitely have been cleaner. The sink needs to be attached to the wall properly…it is rickety."
Red Jacket Beach Resort

"Fabulous family vacation destination that is very well staffed with polite and professional employees. Everything is convenient and there are "plenty" in terms of pools (one is indoor, two are outdoor), pool chairs, beach loungers, etc. The "Bean Box" on the beach is a nice touch as is the multiple water stations throughout the property for hydration. Beach umbrellas were set up by the staff at no extra charge. Beach attendants (for lunch, drinks and cocktails) were attentive, friendly and polite. The Sam Adams Beach Bar is terrific - easy to access and perfect for those who want to stay on the beach during lunch. The food offereings were limited but good. Close to town with a lot of different shops, restaurants, etc. Can't beat the location of this resort - and we hope to return again soon."
