"We use this beautiful property as our homebase for exploring the beautiful area surrounding Lafarge. The beds were very comfortable and the living room furniture was also comfortable and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed and most importantly the house was very clean. This is a nice quiet location with a beautiful deck to enjoy morning coffee on."

"A few things that we appreciated: The property was clean. There Kitchen was appointed adequately. The deck and porch space was nice and it had an overhang to stay out of the sun and rain. The property and space were very peaceful."

"A cozy clean cabin in beautiful quiet setting. It’s on world class trout stream so there for decorated in a cute but cornball way with fishing fishing fishing as a theme. Big deck , off back & 2 good size bedrooms & nice big bathroom No TV but food WiFi . Very disappointing no fire pit or fire ring. ? Plenty of room , not sure why. The only negative is the dirty dusty musty living room windows , desperately need of being cleaned or better yet replaced. This a lovely spot "

"Wonderful family friendly property with tons of space. Never had a home stay so well stocked. There was even an infant bathtub and stroller in the closet! Back deck wasn’t private but still nice to sit on. Convenient location, but spent our days elsewhere. Would definitely stay again!"

"The cottage was very peaceful and quite. We enjoyed exploring the little park down the street and the surrounding towns. We visited the House on the Rock and The Cave in the Mounds. We are planning on taking a trip next year to explore some more. Would definitely recommend for anyone traveling the area to stay here!"

"It's quiet, peaceful and plenty of wildlife to view out the front and rear of the house. We saw a pair of Coyotes along with deer and turkeys, caught bass and bluegill in the pond, which kept the kids entertained for hours."

"Artist Retreat was as listed. Beautiful location, well stocked with everything needed. Fall colors were great. We were too late in the year for the flowers and plantings but it would be beautiful in Spring and Summer. Recommend for Seniors: nice access to the upstairs bedroom. Easy staircase up with easy access to deck. We enjoyed our stay!"

We enjoyed the picturesque backyard with tree lines, and being able to watch wildlife and relax. We truly recommend this vacation home and give it 5 stars!"

"Very clean, very well kept up. Lots of space. We’re a group of quilter friends from three different areas of WI. Windmill Retreat is the perfect meeting spot for us. It’s location is equal distance from each of our homes. This was our second stay here (3rd for one of us). Plan on coming again next year."

"Really enjoyed our stay in Richland Centre. Sat out on the deck & watched the deer, ground hog, rabbits & numerous birds. The house was perfect for us (four adults) all being on one level. Wheel chair accessible & wide hallway & doorways. Very close to down town, lovely walk across the suspension bridge. Excellent combination with the owner. Would definitely recommend this property!"
