"This hotell is in a great place. The room is stunning, the staff is friendly. But the rooms do not get cleaned if you do not ask for it. We stayed for a week and when you stay that long you need a couple of cleanings. For a weekend it would be perfect."

"a very good value for money option for those wanting to stay near glasgow. Reasonable commute by car to the city (1/2 hour or so) - suggest you go the more Country route. Local area isn’t significant, so suggest you eat in the city. Our large room got a lovely sunset, whilst sitting on a large raised couch. Quiet. (though the birds can get noisy for a bit - nothing the property can do about that though). Sheep in the garden ! Recommended."

"May 2026 Great spot, just out from town but walkable. Good Restaurants and Pubs within a few minutes walk. Place felt like someone’s house was cool, private room with good amenities. Shared Kitchen which is great and even a laundry to wash your clothes."
