"There was not much to see nearby except bars and restaurants. No local points of interest nearby. Floors were very uneven in room which made walking odd around the bed, the air conditioner was extremely loud and not accurate with temperature of room, the bottom of the tub was very slick no matt or grips on the bottom to keep from slipping. Gave us a little trouble when we asked for an extra pillow because they only had 3 in a room for two people and the pillows were very flat and no support so getting one extra so we both could have two was hard. Staff was not very welcoming when checked in. "

"Everything was in order and nothing caused irritation. Warm Shower & the Thermostat are really my main concern with hotel consistently, everything was great."

"Very nice and authentic historical hotel in a good location. Entertaining view from the upstairs ballroom bar. Enjoyed the entertainment in the downstairs bar. "

"We arrived at 12:30 pm and were told our room would be ready at 2:00 pm. So we hung out in the nice lobby until 2:00 pm to check in. When we asked to check in they said our room was ready but there was a $35 fee for early check ins - that is any time before 3:00 pm. Arghh. "
