"Great staff on reception. Ideal location for walking into Cambridge. A 30-40 minute walk. Plenty of places to eat. Good parking. Room was exactly what we needed. Breakfast was buffet style and suited us. A good choice of food. We always use Holiday Inn if there is one available."

"We attended this hotel for a family with 2 kids and this was just right. All facilities were amazing and the staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast and dinner was delicious with plenty to choose from. Our room was clean and in a good condition. We all enjoyed the pool, sauna and gym which made this place stand out as it is our second stay here. Overall, if you are looking for a great hotel this one hits the spot."

"The website stated parking was provided, but when we arrived we were charged a substantial extra - not very welcoming. On Sunday morning we were woken by a very loud alarm. The staff's reaction was incompetent and seemed to reveal a complete ack of Fire awareness or training. No attempt was made to reassure visitors, ensure that everyone was accounted for or inform them that it was a false alarm. Restaurant staff were helpful and attentive."

"Very good location near to the centre of town and not too far away from the station which is rather out of town. Beautiful old building and comfortable albeit compact room. Very nice staff and we loved everything apart from the breakfast - self-service and rather poor quality cold food items with little choice. It was a surprise as it didn’t chime with the rest of the hotel which lent itself towards a more upscale service so hopefully this is constructive feedback."

"Great location, we used the Castle Hill car park, that was a 15 minute walk, but cheaper. Before going, I checked that I could leave our baggage in reception and the response was quick and helpful. The rooms were lovely and spacious for the three of us. All the extra’s, like body wash, shampoo etc smelt lovely. Nice to have decent toilet roll. Loved the kitchen with the dishwasher, fridge & coffee machine. Would definitely stay again."
