"A nice and more affordable option for those visiting North Lake Tahoe. The Granlibakken has an old-school Tahoe vibe, which can be both charming and dated. This particular room, while checking all the boxes, definitely has a bit of "staying the night at Grandma's house) vibe. Furniture is fully functional, but could use an upgrade. Overall, would stay again for the price, but would enjoy it more with a little refresh."

"We had the loveliest stay at Alpenglow Aerie! We were two families with 5 children staying over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house is beautifully decorated and has the most spectacular views of the mountains and lake. It was the perfect place to unwind after a hike or bike ride. The added loft area was perfect for the kids and we always had a fire going in the evening. "The cabin is 4 bedrooms and compact. Space is used creatively and the cabin accommodated our group perfectly. Easy access to Kings Beach, Tahoe City, mini golf and trails. Owner was responsive and easy to chat with. I would definitely recommend this cabin. The kids loved the karaoke machine and we loved relaxing on the deck with the windows and doors closed so we didn't have to listen!"
