"Our extended family stayed for ten days and had a great time ! The best thing about the house aside from being right on Newfound Lake, was the roominess of the house . We had our elderly mother, who slept in the bedroom on the main floor with her own bathroom . Upstairs has so many bedrooms and additional sitting/rec rooms so everyone could spead out during our stay . "

"The water was the draw for us and we enjoyed the views from which were available from just about every indoor location. The living space was fine for the 2 of us. We wondered, since there are beds for 6, how larger groups relax. There’s a picnic table with seating in an adjacent room but in the living room there’s only one couch that seats 3. Recognizing that there are high stools for the counter and a cushion, perhaps a comfortable armchair would be nice as additional seating. Just a thought.🙂"

"Great location close to Sunapee and convenient for a gathering of families. The kids loved sledding on the backyard hill and the house had spread out hang out areas (living room, adjacent sitting area, large kitchen, upstairs tv room) that helped everyone find space. Some steps between rooms that we had to be careful on with the littlest kids. "

"The house was in a great spot in a quiet neighborhood with access to lots of things in town. "

"The place was great. The only suprise was the washed out dirt road and steep, rough dirt driveway. I'm glad i had 4wd. Overall it was a great place and I'd imagine it would be a great spot for a summer vacation, when its not raining. The driveway/road should be graded and leveled out a bit but i understand i was staying during mud season. Also, if i have to pay a host fee and cleaning fee, why do i have to strip the beds, take out the trash and clean before i leave? This always suprises me. "

Hotel Coolidge

10/10 Excellent

"We loved staying at Hotel Coolidge-family of 4, 2 young children. We went in with the knowledge this is an old hotel, with original features and did not expect fancy, updated hotel. The staff was so nice and accommodating, surround area nice with several great places to eat. Our only complaint, and not so much a complaint but a thing we would prefer is just some room darkening curtains. It was very bright all night and disturbed sleep. Would stay here again and just bring some sleep masks! "
