"Wonderful to be able to stay in very comfortable, well maintained and spacious 17th Century accommodation. The Crown Hotel is the hub of the village. My room at the back overlooked the garden and rooftops so noise was minimal. Food was cooked to order, the included breakfast was marvellous with an excellent choice of hot and cold options including plant based ‘milks’. There was a good evening menu with very substantial servings. The only downside was the lack of vegetarian options. All the staff were very polite, friendly and happy in their work."

"A beautiful building set in beatiful grounds on Newmarket high st! Filled with interesting paintings and curios. Main asset are the staff, excellent. Breakfast was awesome."
