"We had a lovely stay. The hotel room was ample, with furnishings catering to our needs. The view from our window over the cathedral was spectacular, and we appreciated the hotel's centrality; we could pop in and out as we needed. The price of the breakfast was a little steep; we only indulged once, but would have liked to more: there was a good range of healthy options available. I was really sorry to leave this excellent accommodation at the end of our holiday."

The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The event room is very spacious and has a bar making the hotel ideal for hosting future events. I would have no hesitation in booking another stay and Guildford is lovely town. "

She took care of us from check-in to check-out, especially my grandnieces with special treats. Listen up Village Hotel Management, you have a gem in Zara and her customer service skills and empathy for guests should be taught to all staff. On this trip I stayed in six hotels from London to Paris to Amsterdam, but I can say that the Village Hotel stay was the second to none because of Zara. "
