Wonderful!

We cant say enough about how nice the home was. Clean, with everything we needed a short drive from Yellowstone Park. The community is great, right on the lake with off road driving around the corner. Looking forward to going back.

Beautiful surroundings

This is a comfortable, quiet area to stay in. Just 15 minutes from town and 10 minutes to the lake. We loved how calm and serene the area is. The home has all the things that you need to stay. Loved the towels.

Pleasant stay in a great area

The house was quite spacious for the four of us, with 3 bedrooms. It is situated a few minutes away from the touristy hustle-and-bustle of West Yellowstone. We saw a coyote on the drive in, and a fox in the backyard the first morning! We loved exploring Yellowstone National Park as well as Montana - Big Sky, Bozeman and Hyalite Canyon.

Convenient quiet proximity to Yellowstone

This property is 10 minutes away from Yellowstone West entrance. It is in a quiet neighborhood with a view of a lake in the distance. Three bedrooms, back deck, with barbecue grill. This was really convenient, quiet, and nice.

Happiness at Horse Butte

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The unit was very clean. It was well stocked with everything we might need while on vacation. Communication with the host was timely. We will definitely stay here again. We couldn't be happier with our stay.

Nice spot away from the busy town.

Its a little jaunt out of town, but worth the drive to get away from the craziness of West Yellowstone. We had plenty of room with family of 5. We didnt spend a lot of daytime in the house, but it would be pretty warm in there. The evenings were cool enough to open windows and sleep well. Also, so nice to have laundry avaliable on site after hiking and 80-90 ' days.

Great location and well-stocked

My family and I had a great stay in West Yellowstone. This house was close enough to the park but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The house was clean and was well-stocked with everything we needed. If I had questions or needed anything, the manager was quick to get back to me. Overall, we were definitely pleased with our stay.

Excellent for the price

This is not a high-end property, but everything was clean and functional. Extra points for having plenty of seating around the table for everybody (many rentals miss on this key item) and for having loaner cans of bear spray. The unit is in a quiet residential neighborhood, with some nice views of the lake and is an easy drive from West Yellowstone. We saw no bison roaming in the back yard but did enjoy watching a couple of foxes hunting in the tall grass outside the window.

Great stay

The house was perfect for our visit to Yellowstone. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had a good selection of cooking pots and pans and dishes, as well as spices, salt and pepper. We enjoyed using the grill, and was impressed that there was even an additional propane tank if the first ran out. The property owner/ manager has anticipated the needs of renters very well. We also saw the fox out back in the early morning. Would recommend.

The house was conveniently located (8 miles from West Yellowstone)... It was clean an orderly with towels and other accoutrements... The sofa sleeper needs to be replaced (broke and tilted)...

Million dollar view

The property is located overlooking a beautiful mountain and lake view . The residence has a cabin feel to it and it’s is very relaxing to sit on the back porch and enjoy morning coffee while enjoying the view through the car port ! The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the basics are here for a hybrid - cook / dine stay . It was 15 mins to the park entrance and town - west Yellowstone. The complimentary bear spray ( which we didn’t need to use thankfully) was much appreciated . The pictures online don’t do it justice . Recommend .

Perfect for our needs

This home was perfect for our family of 7 to be able to use while we explored Yellowstone National Park. It's close to all the stores etc. in West Yellowstone, yet far enough away you feel out in the middle of nature. Loved that it had a washer/dryer with supplies. We hadn't planned to use it, but had a daughter who got car sick, so it was a blessing to get to do some laundry! My only drawback is the mandatory insurance you are required to purchase in order to reserve this location. I feel like that should be an optional service, not required.

Loved our stay

This duplex exceeded our expectations. The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars for "accuracy of online listing" was that it was better in real life! The pictures do not do it justice. The seating was comfortable, the kitchen, bedroom and bathrooms well stocked with everything that you could need, and the manager was easy to get a hold of and very responsive. I loved the little valley that the duplex is nestled in, with mountain views. We even saw a fox run up a neighbor's back porch one morning. Location is ony 15 mins outside of the town of West Yellowstone and a very easy drive to the West entrance of Yellowstone. The beds, sheets and towels were soft and comfortable and there was just the right amount of room for our familyi of five. I would highly recommend this place.

Great place, beware of internet

Great location in a wonderful neighborhood with great neighbors. Bison roam the neighborhood and you will find them just outside your windows and doors in the front and backyard every day. Which is cool, just watch out for the bison droppings lol Has just about everything you need. Not all toiletries were stocked as the listing says. But they were rectified quickly after communicating. If you don't need internet, this is the listing for you. If you need at least normal internet speed that is reliable, this will be a struggle for you as it was for us. You will get 10 mbps or less and the wifi will drop throughout the day and night while you're home resting after exploring.

Nice home away from the town, clean and quiet

Mid-sized, older, clean and quiet property on a peninsula about 15 miles from West Yellowstone Town. The area has essentially no trees, so it has a campground feel, but gives a pleasant view of Hebgen Lake. Nearby Rainbow Point Campground has a sweet, little beach with a mountain sunset. The home is not large, but has all the necessities, beds are comfortable enough, the back deck offers a quiet view of a field and neighbors, and the kitchen is quite stocked and large enough for dinners. There is a local fox that visits and steals eggs from somewhere...local geese or chickens, maybe? It is a duplex, so there are close-by neighbors. It is clean and well-maintained, but be sure to do grocery shopping wherever you fly into because the stores in West Yellowstone are very small, have little product, and are expensive.
