"On the upside, the staff was friendly. One notable exception took place when I was walking the casino floor in search of an electronic craps game. I stopped an employee who was wearing a suit and appeared to be a manager or casino host and asked him if there were any in the casino. He gave me a definitive "No, there aren't" and then he walked away. About 30 seconds later, I found one. Our room and its location were a tremendous disappointment, especially given the price I paid and the set expectation that it would be a "luxury experience". The room was in the West Wing, which was a very far walk from the rest of the property, only accessible by going outside and walking through an employee area, and in a building which was clearly dated. The room itself was on a par with a Best Western more than a "luxury" resort. The refrigerator did not work, the room got warm (even though we had the thermostat set to 67), it was small, two of the dresser drawers kept sliding open , and the showerhead had little coverage. We were here to celebrate my wife's birthday and I chose Peppermill because it was presented as an upscale experience. I would not stay here again. "

"Our room had an amazing view of the lake and snowy top mountains. Decor/furniture is a bit dated and wasn’t in the best shape. Also not sure why but it took forever for the water to get warm. Met my expectations of a hotel casino resort and would likely come back again."

"After running water for 5 minutes, it never became hot! Very lukewarm only. No other complaints. Bed and pillows comfortable."
