"Nos pareció muy conveniente la ubicación, frente a la playa con amenidades para estar en ella. Parqueo seguro. Desayuno bufet un poco básico pero nos gustó y fue suficiente para emprender un día de aventuras. El área de piscina muy linda. Lo único que recomendamos mejorar es la habitación, se nota que son antiguas y fueron remodeladas pero hay detalles descuidados. Aún así, las camas estaban cómodas y pudimos pasarla bien."
"Don't try to find the office after dark! I knocked on an apartment door on the other side of the parking lot because it was the only light on! A kind gentleman took me to the front desk! No lights or information to be found when we drove in! Our room was clean although a bit cramped. It was extremely quiet. The breakfast was excellent. There was no soap or hand towels. The shower door didn't close and the sink faucet rotated from side to side! The sign over the sink said not to drink the water....but none was provided to even brush your teeth! Luckily I had a bottle of water in the car! In my opinion, it was over priced. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. No ocean view from our room, but the pool, which we didn't use, looked beautiful. There is no beach access. Nice enough, but we won't be back!"
"What a beautiful property! There was always enough shade in and around the pools, and excellent bird watching within the hotel grounds. The location was excellent, with the beaches, national park, and town/restaurants within easy walking distance, but it was nice and peaceful at the hotel itself. Our room was nice and the shower was excellent. The only problem was the lack of soundproofing - we heard every word and footstep from the suite above. The staff were exceptional and very helpful with booking a driver to take us to Limon airport "
Unique Glass Private Pool Villa - Walk to beach - Fiber WiFi - 4BR
10/10 Excellent
"Having visited Cahuita before, we can confidently say that Casa del Mango is a total gem. Staying in Cahuita is exactly the "off the beaten path" experience we prefer, offering a beautiful and impeccably clean place to stay while still being just a short, easy walk to the beach. The wildlife sightings were a constant highlight for our boys during our stay. We woke up to the incredible sound of howler monkeys every morning and spent our days spotting sloths, toucans, and vibrant frogs right around the Casa. After a full day of adventure, coming back to such an incredibly comfortable home/ bed was a dream, and the kids spent every spare minute playing in the pool. What truly sets this place apart, however, are the incredibly gracious hosts who made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We have such a deep love for this area, and Casa del Mango is easily our new favorite spot to stay. We will be back for sure!"
Riverfront property with private pool, close to pristine beaches. Bird watching
10/10 Excellent
"The Riverfront Property is just as advertised. We enjoyed getting to know the area, including a driving south to Puerto Viejo and Manzanillo as well as Cahuita National Park.Being more urban folks it took a bit of getting used to the more isolated location. It’s great to be surrounded by nature, but it is noisy nature, including howler monkeys who woke us up at night. We loved the pool! The sun-heated water was the perfect temperature to just laze the afternoon away in.The kitchen is amazing and includes everything you might need to stay in and make your own meals, which is exactly what we did.Jose, our host was attentive and quick to respond to any questions we had.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property!"
