Beachfront Luxe • Hot Tub • Game Room • 5BR Sleeps 14 | Westport Escape

10/10 Excellent

"This is our second time staying at this property. The house itself is perfect, but read all below to see the temporary issues involving surrounding construction.Pros: The house is amazing: very clean, with five bedrooms, four of which are full bedrooms comfortable for 4 couples. The fifth is a kids bunk room. The beds are comfortable, and the many bathroom excellent. The main living area is very roomy and comfortable; the kitchen is well equipped. There is much thoughtfulness put into what a renter might desire. We were 4 couples and found the lay out excellent for hanging out.The hot tub is very nice. There is a good path for a short walk to the beach. Pet friendly. Cons: These cons are temporary and hopefully will be mostly gone in the ensuing months. But please note there is a LOT of construction going on in this development, including on both sides of the unit. On one side the digger was removed and the house already framed and sided so hopefully won't be an issue. The house on the other side is just beginning to be framed so would anticipate a number of more months of construction there. But neither of those two sites were too bad overall. The main issue was a few lots down is a big project involving tunneling fiber optic cable (with plans to lay cable to Alaska interestingly). Per the workers, this will be going on for another few months. So...depending on the wind, there is varying amounts of noise and diesel fumes, mostly in afternoon."

Oceanfront 5BR | Hot Tub, Game Room & Kids Bunk Room | Steps to Pacific

10/10 Excellent

"We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, comfortable, and had an amazing view. Even with the directional drilling happening nearby, the view was still absolutely beautiful, and the noise level remained consistent throughout our stay, so it really didn’t bother us. The house was thoughtfully stocked with everything we could need, along with so many extra touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. The spaces for the kids were absolutely amazing and made it such a great place for our family. You can tell a lot of care went into making guests feel welcome and comfortable. The beach access is right next door which was great. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, family friendly getaway!"

OCEANFRONT - Kid/Dog Friendly - Ocean Side Deck - Firepit - Beach Path - VIEWS!!

Oceanview Retreat - Hot Tub + Game Garage + Spa Suite + Kids Cave - Westport, WA

10/10 Excellent

"We had a wonderful stay at this house! There was plenty of room for our two families, and the kids loved being so close to the beach. The playroom was a fantastic bonus, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back next year!"

Westport Vacation Rental w/ Private Hot Tub!

8/10 Good

"Overall, we had a very nice 10-day stay at this house, and we already miss being there! We enjoyed the area and had a great time visiting family. There are just a few things future guests may want to know.**Wildlife:** When we first arrived, there was trash spilled across the driveway, which is how we discovered that a bear occasionally comes out at night. We had no problem cleaning it up and securing the bags with a strap. The bear returned one more time during our stay, but thankfully, the strap kept everything contained and prevented another mess. A few days before checkout, the owners had new locking trash cans delivered, so that should help prevent future issues. Just be aware that there is plenty of wildlife in the area! We never had any frightening encounters, and watching the herds of deer was one of the highlights of our stay. Just be extra careful when driving in the mornings and evenings, as deer are frequently around.**The house:** As a place to stay, the house is perfectly fine, but it isn't the most comfortable for spending a lot of time lounging indoors. The kitchen could use some attention, particularly the cookware. The pots and pans are probably due for replacement, and the kitchen was limited on supplies. I found one baking sheet and one cutting board. There are kitchen knives, but no steak knives. Nice appliances. Dog toys and a high chair. The middle bedroom could really benefit from a blackout curtain. The neighboring property has a shop house with a very bright spotlight that stays on throughout the night, leaving that room illuminated 24/7. That neighbor can also be quite noisy in the mornings, which is worth keeping in mind if you're a light sleeper. The headboards are mounted in the center, so they move around easily, and they could use a deep cleaning. The beds were okay, but nothing particularly special. The TV was hard to hear at times.**Outdoor amenities:** The hot tub was nice and clean, which we appreciated! The yard could have used a little mowing, but overall, the outdoor space was enjoyable.**My biggest complaint:** The floors are EXTREMELY creaky. There is practically no way to walk anywhere in the house without everyone else hearing you or potentially waking up. If you're traveling with a little one, a light sleeper, or anyone who gets up during the night, this is definitely something to consider!Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and loved the surrounding area. With a few updates this could be a 5 star stay!"

Walk to Beach! Pet-Friendly Westport Home w/ Views

8/10 Good

"The home was clean and very well equipped with kitchen equipment, towels, toiletries, games. The mattress in the upstairs bedroom was too soft for our comfort. The sleep number function did not operate. It's true that it was a short walk to the beach. However it requires an agile, strong person to negotiate the drop from the trail to the trail down the bank to the beach.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would return. It worked very well for our family."

Oceanfront Living At Its Best, Exquisite and Modern Home 8 guests

10/10 Excellent

"My daughter and I really like the house. The path to the beach is short, the views are great and it is really like having your own private beach. We didn't really see anyone the entire time we were there. We also enjoyed the ping pong table. Overall, we have only positive things to say about the house and the stay."
