"Beautiful historic building. No elevator. Staff assisted with luggage if needed. Quiet setting with some street noise. Good water pressure in our 3rdfloor room. I couldn't open my email from Expedia, so we went in without the usual helpful/ needed information. If you want a hot breakfast, you must book it at least 24 hr in advance. Continental breakfast was sufficient. Great location."

"Asia was the only staff member I had a positive experience with during my stay. They attempted to accommodate me and switched me to two (2) different rooms that wreaked of cigarette smoke. Additionally, shouted and banged on my door without identifying themselves, demanding I come out because I was past my check-out time. I was not and had paid receipt proof of an extended late check-out in addition to making a note in my reservation booking. They failed to take responsibility and check their records and receipts prior to behaving in such an unprofessional and erratic manner. It's already hard enough in this economy to stay afloat, so I highly recommend spending your hard earned money elsewhere unless you enjoy being shouted at, mistreated and cigarette smoke filled rooms."

"When we got there the bedding had not been changes, there were cigarettes on the floor and poop on the side of the toilet. We asked them to change our bedding and they did not. Overall it was not extremely filthy everything worked but it was obvious they did not care to clean up and change things out after the last visitor."
