The cabin was lovely and spacious, many kitchen essentials and cleaning products were already present which is always nice. The community was gated and felt very safe. The host was super communicative and accommodating, we had everything we needed and had a great time! We would absolutely book again.

Great place to stay in Lake Almanor

An absolute wonderful place to stay. The access was a little strange and it would have been nice to have the game/TV room on the lower floor but otherwise the place was fantastic and we would definitely rent it again.

Peaceful Cozy Log Cabin

My husband and I needed to have some space near our children and grandchildren for a family vacation. We found the perfect retreat! The cabin is thoughtfully and beautifully decorated with all the cozy comforts needed to enjoy a Lake Almanor vacation. Close to all the country club amenities and local attractions, I would highly recommend this for a mountain vacation.

Fantastic Forest Get Away

We had such an amazing time and stay at this cabin! The manger kept in great communication and was super informative with our questions. The view is worth every penny alone, but the accommodations and amenities made the stay. If you have a chance to stay, def make it a week or longer!

Very quiet area, house is larger than may appear. Has a/c in kitchen and mb but there was no need during our stay. The deck although not wide is long and great for morning coffee or enjoy dinner. Important, follow host directions to reach front door.Frank R.

A comfortable family home with all the amenities (full kitchen, washing machine and dryer etc) and lovely views to the lake. The property is in a gated community with limited restaurants (none of which were open on the days of the week we were there) but there were some great places for food and drink nearby (special call out to Hido’s restaurant and Waganupa brewery). Travelling outside the gates to the local restaurants was a bit tricky as the gate/keypad system wasn’t working but the owners were very responsive to issues and keen to ensure a pleasant stay.

Wonderful Stay at Lake Almanor Log Cabin

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this log cabin in Lake Almanor! Everything was clean and well appointed. The kitchen was fully stocked, there were plenty of board games / puzzles for the family to enjoy and my son loved the foosball table. We enjoyed the view of the lake from the deck every morning and evening. We also enjoyed the beach and nearby golf course, and rented a boat one afternoon. This cabin is close to it all! The owner was very communicative and accommodating. We will definitely be back to stay at this gem!

Beautiful Log Cabin!

This cabin is full of lovely woodsy themed decor with antiques and also modern amenities. My four grandchildren loved the game room, and especially competing at the foosball table. At the rear of the cabin there is a firepit, and a peek of the lake. We had coffee on the deck in the morning and a glass of wine there in the evening. It was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Lanita, the owner, was very helpful and gracious with our questions and providing information. When we visit the lake again we will definitely be renting this wonderful cabin. My family loved it!

Great cabin - great lake

We so enjoyed staying in this great cabin in the lake Almanor country club area. The cabin is so comfortable and nicely appointed. Clean, spacious and nicely designed. It was just me and my husband, but it would have been so fun with more family members. The country club area has nice beach access. It feels like a fun family lake. We rented kayaks at one of the lake resorts. Lassen Park is just 45 minutes away. Not crowded at all.

This is a truly wonderful place!

This property is special - spacious, comfortable, very clean and well appointed with everything you need, including games and a foosball table! The view is gorgeous. There is a loft for additional sleeping or lounging space. The pictures don’t do this property justice. The owner, Lanita, is helpful and could not be nicer. I highly recommend!

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend renting this cabin. On the last night of our five-day stay, we saw a mouse in the downstairs bedroom. We immediately notified the host and decided not to use that bedroom. The following morning, we saw another mouse run under the downstairs sofa, which I also reported right away.Throughout our communication, I tried to be factual, respectful, and understanding. I recognize that mice can occasionally find their way into homes in rural areas. However, I had hoped the host would acknowledge the issue, take it seriously, and reassure us that steps would be taken to eliminate the problem.Instead, I was accused of being untruthful, and the host stated that she had gone through our garbage looking for evidence of mice, which I found both surprising and inappropriate.I understand that reviews can impact a rental business, and I truly wish I could have left a more positive review. Had the host responded with concern and a commitment to addressing the issue, my overall impression would have been very different

Another perfect stay

This was our 3rd visit to Lake Almanor and the past 2 years we have stayed in this cabin. I can’t praise it enough. The house is beautiful and clean. Location is perfect for us. Close to everything but nestled nicely in LACC. Every morning I would have my coffee looming out at the lake and the trees. The owner communicated well with me from the initial booking and even accommodated us arriving a day early. There’s a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer and 3 large bedrooms. The loft is a great addition. We had game night every night! I can’t give it enough praise and we will most definitely return next summer.
