Twin Lakes Lodge – Rustic Lake Cabin Near Pictured Rocks
Twin Lakes Lodge is a classic rustic Northwoods cabin offering a peaceful lake getaway while still being conveniently close to Munising and the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Set back from the water for added privacy, the cabin includes shared access to Twin Lake, featuring a hard, sandy bottom ideal for swimming, relaxing, and lakeside fun.
Guests enjoy complimentary use of a raft, paddle boat, and a 12’ aluminum fishing boat (electric motors only), making it easy to spend your days fishing, swimming, or simply floating on the lake. Fishing on Twin Lake is catch and release only, with species including bass, panfish, pike, and bullheads.
Inside, the cabin offers a warm, rustic feel with a main-floor great room that includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living space. The main level features two bedrooms, while the spacious loft serves as the third sleeping area, overlooking the great room. With a mix of queen and double beds plus a queen air bed in the loft, the lodge comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests.
Amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with streaming channels, a selection of board games for adults and children, and a water cooler for drinking water. Bedding and bath towels are provided, along with starter supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, and dish soap. Please note there are no laundry facilities at this cabin.
Outdoor amenities include a gas grill, fire pit, outdoor chairs, and a picnic table, along with plenty of space for vehicles, trailers, and ATVs, making it easy to enjoy meals outside, relax by the fire in the evenings, and spend time together in a peaceful natural setting. Four-wheelers are welcome, and guests enjoy exploring nearby country roads and trail systems.
Twin Lakes Lodge is a seasonal cabin available from May through October and is a favorite for guests looking to unplug, enjoy nature, stargaze at night, and experience classic Upper Peninsula cabin living. The Buckhorn Restaurant and Bar is just 3.5 miles away for dining or fuel, and Munising’s shops, waterfalls, boat cruises, and hiking trails are a short drive away.
