"My brother, our friend, and I stayed for 3 days at Wilfried's place in Colmberg, which is a pleasant small town just a 20 minute drive from Rothenburg. The spacious converted barn is very homey, with sofas, WiFi, a large-screen television, etc. Wilfired was very personable, enjoyed chatting with us and giving us recommendations for restaurants in the area, and even for other good places to visit in southern Germany. If some day I return to the area I will definitely stay with Wilfried again."

"This place was perfect for us to spend a few days along the Romantic Road. We just had to step out the door and walk up the street to be in the thick of the action. "We had a lovely stay at this hidden gem in Feuchtwangen, 30 min south of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. House was charming, right down to the flowers in every window box. It had historic charm and with that cones some squeaks and tiny bathroom but I loved it. Walking distance to a great cafe, chocolate and ice cream shops, donar, and wine bar along with cathedral, park, and lots more. I wish we could have explored more. "Wir haben rein gar nichts vermisst. Für 6 Personen waren zwei Schlüssel was knapp. Die Wohnung ist technisch perfekt, sauber und jeder findet seine Privatsphäre. Einziger Kritikpunkt: die schöne Dachterrasse war wegen vollen und kaputten Aschenbecher, Kerzenstummeln, etc. wenig einladend. Aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau."

"I cannot forget to leave a review! Outstanding. What lovely hosts and home. My only regret is lacking the leisure time to visit more often. The kitchen had ready assortment of seasoning and equipment, and truly complimentary details. Our kids obviously asked if we could just move in. But I'm not reviewing my kids."
