Really beautifully located in old town. Wetzlar has a beautiful cathedral just three minutes away by foot. Learn about Goethe and his life and love in Wetzlar. Eat at Landsknecht restaurant at Kornmarkt. Lovely people at reception. Parking is along the streets for free.

Cleanliness and room size was excellent as was Restaurant facilities and choices available for both Dinner and the Breakfast were too. The Major Downfall was Parking facilities. Only 8 spaces off road that were constantly filled and regardless of the fact the Hotel mentions the price of underground parking, this car park does not belong to the Hotel and therefore no lift access to hotel from it. This left us having to carry/wheel our luggage up the Car Park ramp, around the City Hall, taking a left turn up the street to finally reach the Hotel. Not an ideal situation at any time but especially when it was raining. For this reason we would not stay here again.

Schön in der Altstadt gelegen und somit alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Ich war zwar ohne Auto dort, aber Parkmögluchkeiten gibt es da auch genug.

Beste Zeit schon hinter sich

Das Hotel hat seine besten Zeiten definitiv schon hinter sich. Das hatte ich von den Fotos nicht erwartet. Die Zimmer sind an sich völlig in Ordnung (obwohl auch etwas teuer für das was es ist), allerdings ist der beige Teppichboden etwas eklig. Das Frühstück war ok, aber es gibt z.B. nur Filterkaffee. Der Service war sehr nett. Dass es mit der Rechnung in einem Hotel nie auf Anhieb klappt, ist leider Standard.

2 frisch renovierte Superior Zimmer mit Stadtblick gebucht, nicht renovierte Zimmer mit fleckigem Teppich, älterem Bad und Blick auf die Straße bekommen. Die Dusche des Nachbarn hört man, als ob dieser im Zimmer duscht. Frühstück war ok. NUR Filterkaffee. 6.30-10h allerdings für Sonntag auch früh. Personal an der Rezeption und beim Frühstück war sehr freundlich. Nach Reklamation der Zimmer 10€ Reduzierung bekommen. Fahrradkeller abschließbar und ok. Fazit: Für 1 Nacht ok

Ett hotell när man inte är bilburen

Rummet och badrummet var väl städat. Frukosten var mycket fin. När jag bokade rummet gjordes det med de aspekterna att det fanns parkeringsplatser och att det fanns en restaurang. Hotellet hade bara 6 parkeringsplatser varför vi fick parkera en bit bort på allmän avgiftsbelagd parkeringsplats. Restaurangen var stängd denna kväll varför vi fick gå ut på stan för att få middag.

Falsche Check In Zeit im Internet und bei Expedia angegeben. Wir konnten nicht mehr einchecken und mussten uns Abends um 2130h um ein anderes Hotel bemühen. Später am Telefon wurde das Feedback brüsk und unlogisch abgebügelt. Schlicht frech. Niemals wieder.

Wir waren mit dem Hotel sehr zufrieden. Das einzig Negative war das Restaurant und Bar geschlossen war. Als um kurz nach neun die Rezeption geschlossen wurde, war keine Möglichkeit mehr sich aufzuhalten, außer das Zimmer. Sehr gutes Frühstück und freundliches Personal. Werde das Hotel weiter empfehlen

Kaputte Duschwand und Duschkopf hielt auch nicht.

Die Duschwand hatte 2 große Löcher, die notdürftig mit schwarzen Klebeband verschlossen wurde. Das Wasser suchte sich trotzdem seinen Weg. Obwohl bereits 1/2 Jahr vorher unter Wünsche geäußert wurde, keine Zimmer mit Dachschräge zu erhalten, wurde bei Anreise gesagt, dass kein anderes Zimmer frei wäre, als unterm Dach. Wozu gibt es bei Hotels.com eine Rubrik Wünsche zu äußern, die dann keine Beachtung finden.

Es war eine einzige Enttäuschung! Wir wurden einfach ohne Rücksprache in ein "Historisches" Schwesterhotel umgebucht. Es hiess man hätte uns per E-Mail informiert. Dabei kam die E-Mai 6 min. Nach dem Telefonat. Das Zimmer war alt und Muffig und wurde als Superior vekauft was ein Witz war.Nur durch massive Reklamation und gutem Willen der Rezeption drs Schwesternhotel bekamen wir ein anderes Zimmer wad aber auch kein Superior war aber zum selben Preis. Es hiess Sie seien überbucht ( was gesetzlich nicht erlaubt ist). Resüme: Fonger weg vordiesem Hotel.

Hat alles soweit gepasst

Schönes Hotel in Altstadtnähe. Relativ neu renoviertes Zimmer. Trotzdem hatte der Teppich bereits Flecken. Da denke ich, Teppich im Hotelzimmer ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß, aber das sah man auch auf den Bildern. Ich bevorzuge als Allergiker Laminat o.ä. Immerhin hat man gesehen, dass der Teppich frisch gesaugt war und auch sonst insbesondere im Bad alles sauber. Frühstück trotz Corona als Buffet 👍

Nahe am Stadtzentrum. Leider nur wenige Parkplätze, auch zum Check In war es etwas eng. Man muß dann das Parkhaus der Stadthalle nutzen, diese grenzt aber direkt ans Hotel. Zweckbau, funktionelles Äußeres, aber man wohnt ja nicht VOR dem Hotel. Empfang sehr freundlich. Aufzug vorhanden. Zimmer für diese Kategorie relativ groß. Alles sehr sauber. Im Restaurant trotz Corona guter Service. Abendkarte ein wenig eingeschränkt. Frühstück sehr gut. Für Besichtigungen der Stadt und Stop Over eine unbedingte Empfehlung!

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Leckeres Frühstücksbuffet (wegen Corona mit Maske am Büffet). Das Restaurant hat eine schöne grosse Terrasse. Zimmer nach hinten raus war ruhig und wir konnten bei der Hitze nachts das Fenster offen lassen. Vom Lahn-Radweg geht es zum Hotel einen langen Berg hoch (für E-bikes okay, sonst eher schieben). Zu Fuss dann schnell mitten im Ort.

Das Bett war super bequem. Die Matratze war genau richtig. Das Bad war anscheinend neu gemacht und schön geräumig. Auch das Zimmer war geräumig und gemütlich. Beim Frühstücksbuffet gab es von allem etwas. Man hatte genügend Auswahl um ausgiebig zu frühstücken. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit gewesen.
