"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and could not have been made to feel more welcome. I loved the bunches of flowers, and herbs through the cottage. It was cosy, quiet and comfortable. The fire was set for us if we needed it. The cottage is perfectly placed to be handy to town and amenities, as well. "

"Its a Beautiful position on the beach front, with a view from the bedroom and deck out front. Its old school. The place is comfortable, suited what we wanted for a few night's away. With a well equipped Kitchen if you like to cook. The owner's communicated effectively. I'd welcome another opportunity to stay again. It's a popular location due to the geo thermal. The owner's provided good information about experiencing this. The Beach has wonderful sunrises."

"We enjoyed our stay in a typical kiwi bach. Everything we needed was there. The fridge/ freezer was not ideal as the freezer door did not close and was propped closed with a rock. Otherwise we we were very happy and had.a great short break"

The ladder fell and almost hit one of the kids who was sleeping in the double bed. Because it’s a sleep out, all of the beds should be a series of bunk beds instead of the two double and queen beds. "Although this property is within easy access to the beach and the river we found the bedrooms lacked storage space, the outdoor furniture was very difficult to manage as it is heavy, unstable and hard to move.
