"I was staying in the hotel whilst my dad was in a nearby hospital having experienced a stroke. The staff went above and beyond and were very flexible about extending my stay and letting me work in the function room etc. The local area is also very nice especially the fish and chip shop and Indian restaurant and pub across the road."

"The Horse and Farrier is a great old building with lots of character. The weather was poor when we arrived so couldn’t really see the views unfortunately. Our room, which I believe has been newly renovated was gorgeous. Really tastefully decorated to compliment the original features like the wood beams. The bathroom had a stunning freestanding claw foot bath. A special mention to Keith who is super attentive and professional to customers. Would recommend the Horse and Farrier. "
