Christmas week with adult kids
Property was really well located. Very short walk to snowshoeing, CX skiing, bus stop, town. We walked short walk to Fairmont, and 4 Seasons and had drinks in evening in their bar areas. Only negative was how the house was stocked, which I realize may be different than what we are used to in the states. There was one poor quality sponge which deteriorated in 2 days, minimal TP, Paper towels, and supplies like that. We were planning on stocking these ourselves but its nice to have more than 1 or two rolls to start out. Also, some real basics like salt, sugar, olive oil, basil, garlic powder and little essentials are nice to have so you don't have to go and buy them when you only need a little bit. We had to go down to the neighbor to borrow salt on Christmas eve for our meal as the small supply ran out. So just a bit more of essentials, an extra toothbrush in case someone forgets theirs, etc. would be have been nice. Master bed was really comfortable. Twin beds not so much, I heard that it felt like sleeping on a board. All the rest was great, things were clean. Great area for skiies and coats, walkways well shoveled and sanded.Kim was super available when I had a few questions and stayed in touch until she got the all clear. Nice touch for sure!
