"A good inexpensive clean hotel that is able to offer reasonable provisions for family rooms. Helpful staff and a good child menu offer. The wait time for food with young children was a bit of a challenge but otherwise a pleasant stay. Great place to visit."
"A lovely hotel located in beautiful Goathland, and a perfect location for touring the North York Moors. Even accessible without a car using the Coastliner bus and the North York Moors Railway (as we proved) but a car is definitely recommended. The service from all the staff was absolutely top rate - nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom was very comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. A variety of lounges and a cosy bar made for a good atmosphere. And in good weather the garden is a delight to sit and enjoy a drink or even a snack. A great breakfast offering just about everything you could ask for. And the only slight downside was that the restaurant and bar menu (they are identical) was rather limited in scope. The food was excellent, but for a stay of more than two or three nights you would run out of options."
"The location of Broomfield is excellent, 5 minutes walk from the train and bus stations and the town centre. Our room was stunning, lots of space, immaculately clean and our hosts were very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay and if we're back in Whitby we will be booking in."
Beautiful Cosy Cottage On The Cliff Top With Stunning Sea Views
10/10 Excellent
"We had a lovely stay at this excellent cottage. Everything has been thought of for the comfort of guests and we can't wait to return. Thank you so much!"
"Just a relaxing weekend stay, lovely hotel, booked a single room, but would have liked 2 or larger bath towels, also missed a fridge and iron/ing board. That's where the grumble ends. Lovely hotel, lovely room, lovely staff. Breakfast is something else, full waitress service. Didn't book any other meals, but would recommend if time pressured. Could not fault service or room quality and cleanliness. Thanks team, lovely stay."
"The Elford room was large and comfortable with a sofa and table with chairs.
The bed was comfortable.
Whilst this is one of the modern self access sites there was sufficient beverage condiments, and a fridge, to allow a decent start to the day followed by a walk to one of the recommended cafes for breakfast.
The shower was strong and easily controlled with good quality soft towels.
We'll definitely look favourably if/when we return to Whitby."
