This holiday apartment is right in the centre of Whitby, just a short stroll to the harbour and seafront yet tucked away in a quiet area. This modern, stylish two bedroomed ground floor apartment has the benefit of its own underground car parking space reached via 10 steps. It has an open plan living room, kitchen and dining area. Whitby is one of the north east coast’s most popular holiday destinations, even in the winter months it’s never short of visitors. Surrounded by the North Yorkshire Moors National Park with stunning scenery and a wonderful coastline, “Number 7” is a great base from which to see Yorkshire’s attractions. For the walkers amongst you, Whitby forms part of the Cleveland Way Walk, a 110 mile walk which comes down the coast through Whitby and finishing at Filey, having passed through quaint fishing villages and along rugged coastlines. Just north of Whitby there are the resorts of Sandsend and Staithes, and to the south the much larger resort of Scarborough.
Whitby is famous for the Whitby Jet jewellery. Meander along the cobbled streets or climb the 199 steps to the famous Whitby Abbey where you have fantastic views along the coastline. There are plenty of good restaurants, bars and local pubs in the centre as well as the shops and galleries. The beach is a large sandy beach with donkeys waiting their turn to be picked by the children. The North Yorkshire Moors steam railway travels from Whitby to the market town of Pickering, stopping off at Grosmont. A great base for a perfect holiday. Beach 400 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 250 yards.

Great family tine
Great holiday with unexpected good weather. Property well equipped although lacked a bit of storage in bedroom 2. Great to have parking and in a good location. If you want central a bit further out but still within in easy reach of central Whitby. If have people who have difficulty walking perhaps not for you. Overall a great stay in a great property in a lovely town.

very comfortable and clean and well equipped and obviously in Whitby the car parking space is a big
very comfortable and clean and well equipped and obviously in Whitby the car parking space is a big bonus. It is however reaching an age where some refurbishment needs to be done and works were going on outside in the common areas so perhaps that is being dealt with. The key pad to the car park and doors to the communal areas to get in the flat were difficult to use. The door handle into the bathroom was in need of repair as was the towel rail which was a bit temperamental and coming away from the wall. Having said that we would book again.

This was the first time staying at Number 7 - we were there for a week.
This was the first time staying at Number 7 - we were there for a week. We will certainly stay again. We cannot fault anything to do with the accomodation at all. It is ideally situated for Whitby and the harbour. The underground car park was a big plus. Definitely a 10/10 !!!

A lovely modern apartment with spacious rooms. Everything you need is supplied, including bath and hand towels, hairdryer, the kitchen is well equiped with appliances. The apartment was spotless. The secure parking is included which is a huge bonus. Its only a few minutes walk into town. Nothing negative to say at all about No 7.

Brilliant location, so handy for the centre.
Brilliant location, so handy for the centre. Really comfortable and clean. The underground designated parking space was invaluable.
Only minor criticism would be the lack of an indoor clothes airer (don't always want to use a tumble dryer) and could have done with a pizza cutter.
But otherwise really loved the apartment. Would recommend to friends and will definitely book again.

This is a lovely apartment and we will most certainly choose it again on future trips to Whitby. It was very clean and very comfortable. It was also very equipped for self catering in terms of pots, pans & miscellaneous utensils (full marks for having a non-stick saucepan for the all important scrambled egg - a rare item amongst self catering properties!) Great location being very handy for the town. The underground parking is a huge plus for this property too. Full marks all round from us!

We had an excellent time in Whitby and the surrounding areas.
We had an excellent time in Whitby and the surrounding areas. The flat, Number 7 was in an excellent location to the town and the off road parking was very welcome. We were able to take our little dog with us too. The only thing that I could really fault was the sofa was not very comfortable and the bathroom could do with some attention. If anyone is thinking of going to Whitby, off road parking is essential so would recommend this flat due to the location and for the bonus of a parking place.
