Property is very nice, booking agency not so
The property was clean and well furnished with most of the facilities we would need for a couple of days away. The car parking space was quite small, but at least we had full use of it during our stay. I spent a lot of time researching the location before booking, as I wanted to be within easy walking distance of a couple of places in Whitby, and for us, the location was perfect. A couple of things which weren't so good ..... I'd have tiled the bathroom floor rather than use lino which is puckering up, and I would also have put blinds up at the two sets of double doors to give us some privacy from neighbouring properties. My wife didn't feel comfortable with no blind at the bathroom window, even though the glass is frosted. Overall we enjoyed the stay, but the vefirication process employed by the agency was not only intrusive, but also an awful bit of software to use. Farr too many emails for my liking. They have an automated reminder which nags you to Verify - even though I verified within 24 hours of booking. You'll also get silly rules fired at you telling you how to act - as if none of us live in a residential area and don't know how to behave! I can understand why the booking is non-refundable, because I was so cheesed off by the time we got round to going, I really didn't want to go, and probably would have cancelled. Harrassment or what! So, in short, we did enjoy the break, but the agency really did spoil the whole run up to it, and I will never book with them again,
