"What a fabulous transformation since we were here 18 moths ago. The hotel was friendly and welcoming. It is now excellent with refurbished bar and coffee shop plus excellent refurbished rooms. Staff were great and we enjoyed dinner on one night. Food was very good and portions were large. Breakfast was well presented on both morning and special mention should be made of the acrambed egg!"

"Great location with easy parking outside. The hotel was very clean, everything looked freshly decorated and clean. Nice amenities. Hotel is located meters from the sea and very close to all the restaurants in the town centre."

"We stayed for 2 nights and had an amazing stay, the room was so clean and well maintained with everything we needed. The instructions were also very clear regarding check in/out and parking. We would definitely recommend and would choose argyle house when back in Whitby. Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"An amazing property, home from home everything you need. A welcome pack was left for us on arrival which was a really nice touch. The property was spotless the rooms were spacious and decorated to a very high standard. The property is in a great location with an amazing garden. The station is about a 10 mins walk from the property in the village where you can get a train to Whitby. We went for a meal in the Bridge Inn which was good. I would highly recommend this property the hosts were easy to contact."
