Meant that on our last night we were all conscious that we had to be up and out by 10.00. Appreciate the place has to be cleaned but would have preferred 11.00."

"This cottage is located perfectly. The walk down to the front is about 7/8 mins. There are shops all around and plenty of places to eat. The cottage is away from the hustle and bustle, is very well equipped and the beds are so comfy. We had an amazing weekend and will definitely be booking to stay here again. "

"As is normally the case the photos don’t quite reflect the property’s condition. We would like to give a balanced review and fundamentally the property is in a great location, even though no parking but can be found in adjacent streets with permit provided. The property isn’t suitable for a family due to size. Overwhelmingly the damp which is evident in many places is an issue, as is the loose and degrading paint and loose and degrading skirting and quadrant. Fridge wasn’t clean, the appliances...

"Our group of 4 adults had a wonderful stay in this central and very convenient location. Well equipped kitchen and beautiful bedrooms. Only comment would be that the living room rug clearly hadn't been hoovered after the previous visitors left. Cleaned to a high standard elsewhere."

"Lovely property was just as advertised. Its a good walk to Whitby centre but not a problem for us. A few marks on the carpet and sofa is not comfortable but overall, house is very clean and communication with owner was fab."

"It was a lovely little cottage, had everything we could need. Staff were also very helpful. very comfortable place. We enjoyed our stay very much. However the mattresses were a bit hard but that made little difference. We still slept well 😊 would recommend! "
